Associate Veterinarian | North Miami Beach, FL | $175,000 Base | Private Practice

A well-established, family-owned veterinary practice in vibrant North Miami Beach, FL is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its dedicated team. With more than 40 years of service to the community, this practice is proud to remain independent, providing high-quality care without corporate constraints.

Position Highlights

• Compensation: $175,000 base salary (W-2), with potential for higher pay for highly experienced candidates
• Schedule: 32–40 hours/week | Monday off, Tues–Fri 9 am–5 pm, rotating Saturdays | No on-call
• Caseload: Approximately 20 canine/feline patients per day
• Support: 5 skilled technicians, 4 clerical staff, and an owner/DVM with 32 years of experience

Practice Details

• Facility: 2,934 sq. ft. hospital with one surgical suite and three treatment areas (four stations)
• Equipment: Digital X-ray and new digital dental radiographs, full in-house IDEXX lab, Cubex drug dispensary, dental scaling/polishing
• Recent Upgrades: Built out in 2019; cloud-based PIMS implementation planned for Fall 2025

Clinical Scope

• OVH/neuters, soft tissue surgeries, dental extractions, and more
• Mentorship available in orthopedic surgery
• Opportunity to develop or bring specialized services (e.g., ultrasound, endodontics)
