Overview
Seeking an Associate Veterinarian to support continued growth as a Lead Veterinarian. The group has a track record of acquiring and revitalizing retiring private practices (including a Waukesha neighbor in 2022), preserving independent medicine while expanding services and access.
Role & Responsibilities
- Comprehensive small-animal care: wellness, spay/neuter, dentistry.
- Case variety welcomed: interest in TTA, knee surgery/tightrope (patella), ultrasound.
- Species focus: cats & dogs; pocket pets and additional interests are supported.
- The associate will practice collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with strong technical and client-service support.
Locations & Schedule
Waukesha
- Hours: Mon–Fri 8:00–5:00; Sat 8:00–1:00 (every other Saturday)
- Appointment cadence: 20-min wellness, 30-min sick visits
- Facility: ~2,900 sf (recently expanded/remodeled) with 4 exam/dental suites + 1 comfort room
- Equipment: Digital radiography (DR), ultrasound, dental rads, dental unit, in-house labs, Tono-Pen
Burlington
- Current facility: ~2,995 sf (being converted to boarding/daycare)
- New hospital (~4,500 sf) opening end of year; operatories expanding from 3 to 6
- Equipment: DR, laser therapy, dental rads, dental unit, in-house labs, Tono-Pen
- Hours: Mon–Wed & Fri 8:00–5:00; Sat 8:00–12:00 (every other Saturday)
Team
- Waukesha: 2 DVMs, 4 technicians, 2–3 CSRs
- Burlington: 1 DVM, 2 technicians (adding 1), 1 CSR
Candidate Profile
- DVM with Wisconsin license (or eligibility).
- 2–5+ years of experience preferred.
- Partnership mindset; collaborative, growth-oriented clinician.
Compensation
- ProSal base $110,000–$150,000 + 20% production.
- Year-2 earnings outlook (36–40 hrs): $170,000–$200,000.
- Retirement: Simple IRA with 3% match.
