A progressive, privately owned mixed animal hospital in Buckley, Washington, is actively seeking a dedicated Small Animal Veterinarian to join their thriving team. Nestled near the foothills of Mount Rainier and just a short drive from Seattle, this location offers an ideal blend of outdoor adventure and urban accessibility.
Practice Overview:
Serving a loyal and growing client base, the practice is known for its exceptional care, collaborative team environment, and commitment to continuing education. With a caseload that is 85% small animal, veterinarians have the opportunity to focus on wellness, general surgery, dentistry, and daytime urgent care cases—all in a well-equipped, supportive setting.
Position Details:
- Primary Focus: Small animal medicine
- Schedule: 3–4 days per week (no after-hours or on-call shifts)
- Environment: Fast-paced, team-oriented practice with a strong support staff
Compensation & Benefits:
- Guaranteed base salary + ProSal model
- Expected earnings: $130,000–$160,000+, depending on experience and productivity
- Sign-on bonus

- CE allowance: $1,500 annually
- Paid veterinary licensure, DEA license, and association dues

- DVM or equivalent degree, with Washington licensure (or eligibility)
