About the Role
Mission-driven outpatient pediatrics within a community health center model. Practice team-based, whole-child care with integrated behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, and care coordination.
Quick Facts
- Schedule: Mon–Fri 8a–6p, one evening to 8p; no weekends
- Call: ~1x/month (nurse triage first); no inpatient/hospital rounding
- EMR: Athena | Model: PCMH | Start: ASAP (credentialing 60–90 days)
- Comp: up to $220,000 base (2-year terms) + up to $18,000 sign-on (relocation negotiable)
- Loan Repayment: Federal program eligible
- Benefits: FTCA malpractice, Medical/Dental/Vision, 403(b) w/ 3% match, 4 weeks PTO, 11 holidays, CME 5 days + $2,500
- Visa: Not available (no H-1B/J-1)
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatrics (well-child, acute/chronic, immunizations, screenings)
- Hold same-day access slots and collaborate with RNs/MAs and care coordinators
- Partner with integrated behavioral health; coordinate referrals to subspecialists
- Document in Athena; participate in UDS-CQM/HEDIS quality initiatives
Qualifications
- MD/DO; BC/BE in Pediatrics
- Indiana license/DEA (or eligibility)
- BLS/PALS/NRP required
- Commitment to health equity and team-based care
