Locum Tenens General Dentist (Super GP – Molar Endo Focus)

We are seeking a highly skilled General Dentist (Super GP) with strong experience in molar endodontics (root canals) to support a growing practice in Bakersfield, CA. This is a flexible locum opportunity with the potential to expand into a long-term or permanent role.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule:
  • 2 days every other week to start
  • Potential to expand to 2–3+ days per week based on performance and patient demand

Clinical Overview

• Patient Volume: 16+ patients per day
• Patient Mix: 90% adult, 10% adolescent

Procedures

• Primary Focus: Molar Endodontics (Root Canals)
• Diagnose and develop comprehensive treatment plans

Preferred (not required):

• Surgical extractions
• Single-tooth implants

Practice Details

• Support Staff: 2 RDAEFs, 1 RDA, 1 RDH
• Charting System: Eaglesoft
• Insurance: Delta Dental / PPO

Requirements

• Active California Dental License
• BLS Certification
• DEA (preferred, not required)

Compensation & Logistics
