General Dentist (PTO Coverage) | Manteca, CA

A well-established dental practice in Manteca, CA is seeking temporary coverage for an upcoming doctor's leave from mid-November through the end of the year. The practice offers an inviting patient environment focused on providing high-quality adult care to the local community.

The incoming clinician will work alongside a highly skilled, supportive auxiliary team consisting of two hygienists and two RDAEF2s to ensure a streamlined clinical workflow.

The Role:

• Location: Manteca, CA 95336
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Nov 12th – Dec 31st; closed holidays)
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1.5-hour lunch break from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM)
• Patient Volume: 16–18 adult patients per day across 3 GP columns (2 production, 1 emergency) and 2 hygiene columns
• Clinical Scope: General bread-and-butter dentistry including fillings, crowns, and simple extractions (complex extractions referred out)
• Tech Stack: MacPractice charting software
• Preferred Skills: Strong diagnostic skills; bonus experience in restoring implants or basic ortho/cosmetic bracketing
• Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage; travel expenses covered for non-local candidates, though local providers are preferred

What is Needed:

• Credentials: Active California Dental License and current BLS certification; active DEA registration is preferred but not required.
• Onboarding: Fast-track onboarding with a 1-to-2-week credentialing timeframe.
• Practice Fit: A collaborative team player who thrives with robust chairside assistance, including hygienists who handle numbing and EF2s who place fillings post-prep.
