Pediatric/General Dentist (Temporary / Locum) | Pueblo, CO

An established pediatric practice in Pueblo, CO is seeking a compassionate dentist for a 3-month assignment with the potential to extend. This opportunity helps maintain continuous quality care for local children and young adults during a temporary coverage need.

The provider will work alongside an experienced clinical team, including 3 Hygienists and 1 Dental Assistant, ensuring a smooth and supportive workflow.

The Role:

• Location: Pueblo, CO 81001
• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday (Flexible; client will accept any available days)
• Hours: Standard day shifts (Thursday general anesthesia days)
• Patient Volume: 30–40 patients per day (including hygiene checks)
• Clinical Scope: Recall exams, scaling, stainless steel crowns (SSC), simple extractions, sealants, fillings, space maintainers, and care under general anesthesia (for children 2–7 years old and special needs patients)
• Tech Stack: Curve Hero
• Preferred Skills: Experience with pediatric patients, sedated patient care, and PALS certification
• Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage. Travel and lodging costs provided.

What is Needed:

• Credentials: Active CO Dental License, BLS, and active enrollment in Medicaid and Delta Dental (PALS preferred; DEA not required)
• Onboarding: Fast-track 2–3 day credentialing timeframe
• Practice Fit: Reliable, patient-focused clinician comfortable with pediatric populations, ready to provide consistent care and keep the clinic thriving
