Associate Veterinarian | Small Animal | Atlantic Coast, Virginia
A well-established, multi-location small animal practice—serving the Chesapeake and Virginia Beach communities for over 40 years—is actively seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. With three AAHA-accredited facilities, the practice is known for delivering advanced, high-quality veterinary care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Location: Chesapeake & Virginia Beach, VA
The Practice:
This thriving veterinary group blends cutting-edge technology with compassionate service. Each of the three locations is staffed with experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians and equipped with state-of-the-art tools, including a CT scanner, digital radiography, ultrasound, and laparoscopic and endoscopic capabilities. Additional offerings include rehabilitation services, such as an underwater treadmill, acupuncture, and a stance analyzer.
Services Provided:
- Comprehensive wellness and preventative care

- Boarding, grooming, and community outreach initiatives
Position Highlights:
- Full-time position with a four-day workweek
- Every other Saturday rotation
- Collaborative, experienced support team on every shift
- Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 based on experience
- Signing bonus and relocation assistance available
Compensation:
- $120,000 – $150,000 DOE
- Sign On Bonus

Locations & Hours:
- Great Bridge (Chesapeake): Mon, Tue, Thu (8 AM–8 PM); Wed, Fri (8 AM–6 PM); Sat (8 AM–2 PM)
- Pembroke (Virginia Beach): Mon–Fri (8 AM–5 PM); Sat (8 AM–2 PM)
- Sajo Farm (Virginia Beach): Mon–Fri (8 AM–8 PM); Sat (8 AM–1 PM)
Ideal Candidate:
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited program
- Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia
- Proficient in general surgery and dentistry; ultrasound skills are a plus
- Passionate about client education and delivering individualized patient care
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Experience in emergency care, acupuncture, or canine rehabilitation is a bonus
