A fast-growing Well respected premier oral surgery group with 6 locations is looking for a self-motivated, experienced Human Resources Director to develop a solid Human Resources program concentrating on Performance Management, Equitable Compensation plans, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or Related Field Required
- Minimum 5 years of Human Resources Management Experience
- PHR or SPHR Preferred
- Proficient in HRIS systems
- Proficient in Payroll Systems

Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Director will plan, develop, lead, administer, and coordinate all policies, practices, and activities of the Human Resources function, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resources compliance and strategy needs.
Administer human resources programs, including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; DEI; and training and development
Administer workers' compensation claims, state disability claims, and unemployment claims
Develop and update job descriptions
Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best hiring and talent management practices.
Coordinate and carry out the hiring process, including, but not limited to, conducting background and reference checks, negotiating salary offers, and issuing job confirmation letters and other internal communication
Set up payroll and maintain the payroll system
Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends, including reviewing reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) system
Maintain and update the HRIS system
Coordinate distribution/communication of projects including but not limited to Employee Policy Manual, 401(k) employee education campaign, benefits open enrollment, employee engagement, etc.
Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and procedures to maintain compliance
Maintain knowledge of best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
Facilitate professional development, training, and certification for staff
Perform other duties as required
