General Surgery – TEXAS - $525,000 to $550,000

This Health System is seeking to hire an outstanding GS to help service the needs of their community.

PRACTICE:

· 317-bed regional hospital with a Level III trauma center

· The service coverage area is 250,000 people

· Built-in Referrals: Averaging 8 new patients per day through the clinic.

· Currently booked out 3-4 weeks

· Clinic: On campus with 11 rooms + 2 procedure rooms + 2 dictation rooms

· Support Staff/Equipment:

o (2) Robots

o (1) MA and (1) RN per provider

o Scheduler

o Option for NP/PA once fully ramped

o ANES: (7) MDs and (7) CRNAs

· Schedule: 4, 4.5, or 5-day work week - (8:00a to 5:00p)

o 3 days: Clinic - see on average 20-24 patients per day

o 2 days: OR – Block scheduling

· EMR: Inpatient – MEDITECH / Outpatient / EMD’s-(similar to Eclinical works)

· Call: 1:3 to 1:2 – you decide how many days of call you would like per month regarding Primary/Back-up

o Primary: You may receive 0-1 calls in a night

o Primary: You may get called into the hospital 3-5 times a month.

o HOSP stabilizes all patients overnight

o Backup: still paid, and you may have to go into the hospital 1 time per year.

COMPENSATION:

· First-year anticipated compensation: $500,000 to $550,000

· Contract term: 3 years

· Production: wRVU

· Vacation: 6 weeks vacation

· CME: $3000 annually

· Relocation: up to $10k

· Full Benefits package: Life, health, dental, vision, etc.

· Executive Retirement Package: Pension – 4.5% salary, vested after 5 years which has 3 different payout options-(Lumpsum, monthly payments, and survivorship).

· Malpractice: Paid – Occurrence –Tail coverage

· Call: PAID - $1500 a shift + wRVU’s after 3 shifts
